Lookup Supporter Gadgets – Events
The Supporter Lookup’s “Events” gadget displays a list of the supporter’s Events transactional history stored within Engaging Networks.
You can also view these transactions in the transaction history gadget, but the Events gadget has additional features for managing.
You can customize how many transactions are displayed at once. You can also include multiple gadgets in your layout and give each a custom display name.
Event transaction types
The three-letter code denotes the type of event transaction you will see:
Event Purchase – Credit/Debit Single | ECS |
Event Purchase – Bank Single | EBS |
Event Purchase – Free/Cash tickets | ECC |
Event marked as refunded | RFD |
Event details
If you click on one of green event rows, you will be shown more information on the purchase.
- Ticket information – this section gives information on the tickets purchased under the transaction along with any discount codes used
- Associated Attendees – this section gives information on any associated attendees and also allows you to update their details
- Transaction Information – this section gives IDs, payment type and expiry date information of the payment itself
Refunding an event transaction
You can process refunds if you are using IATS,vPayflow Pro, Paysafe, Stripe, or Vantiv gateways. You cannot actually refund transactions with any other gateways through Engaging Networks but we understand that keeping your data reconciled is important. The “Mark as refunded” button allows you to mark a transaction as being refunded and also changes the transaction type from “FCS” to “RFD”. The transaction will also turn red in the gadget.
Partial refunds
New feature, late-June 2020 release
You can partially refund an event if you are using Stripe or Payflow Pro. This can be useful if, for example, you want to refund just the additional donation, or a specific ticket. The attendee on that ticket will be cancelled from the event.
Re-sending an events ticket
New feature, late-June 2020 release
You can re-send tickets to supporters that have purchased tickets from your events pages by clicking the Resend button in the gadget.
