Broadcasts

Marketing Tools: Broadcasts Engaging Networks' integrated email marketing tool. It’s designed to work in conjunction with your pages, allowing you to create seamless supporter journeys for your audience. The user interface has been designed to make setting up and sending your emails as simple and intuitive as possible.

If you are not currently using marketing tools and would like to discuss licensing, please contact your Account Success Manager.

To access Marketing Tools Broadcasts:

  1.  Go to marketing tools > broadcasts

Managing the Marketing Tools menu

Once you’ve navigated to broadcasts, you will be presented with the marketing tools menu. The following explains how to navigate the menu.

To create a broadcast, select:
create broadcast Create broadcast button

Type: Email-only is standard; if you have enabled the Twilio integration, you can create three distinct campaign types, identifiable in the menu by their icons.

ID: Unique ID for the broadcast campaign

Broadcast: The name you have given to the Broadcast Name

Email only icon Email Only

SMS only icon SMS Only

Emaul and SMS icon Email and SMS

Send Status: There are three different statuses a campaign can be in:

  • Blank: The campaign is still being edited and is not scheduled or sent. There will be an option to delete the campaign.

  • Scheduled: The campaign is scheduled to be sent. There will be an option to reschedule the campaign or view the scheduled one

  • Sent: The campaign has been sent. There will be an option to view reporting

Sent: The date and time the broadcast campaign was sent

Created: The date the broadcast campaign was created

Modified: The date the broadcast was last modified

Broadcast Menu Functions: The following functions are available on the

  • Broadcast menu checkbox The checkbox next to the broadcast campaign name can be used for foldering.

  • Edit broadcast icon Edit the Broadcast campaign

  • Email preview icon Preview the emails within the broadcast campaign before or after the campaign is sent

  • Duplicate broadcast icon Duplicate the Broadcast campaign

  • Delete broadcast icon Delete the Broadcast Campaign

  • View report icon Access the reporting for a broadcast campaign. Available after the campaign has been sent.

  • Broadcast scheduled icon Reschedule or view the delivery scheduled for a broadcast campaign. Available after the campaign is scheduled and until it is sent.

Managing Folders in Marketing Tools

Once you navigate to your Marketing Tools and select either Broadcast, Templates, or Blocks, you will see a section where you can search, create and navigate folders and subfolders.

If you need to add or change any folders, click on Edit Folders: Button for editing folders

Add Folders:
Select edit folders > Add folder > Name the folder

Parent folder: Choose to create a Parent Folder or a Sub-Folder of a Parent Folder

Move Edit or Delete Folders:

Select edit folders and choose:

Move Folders button Move Folders: Allows you to edit the folder hierarchy.

Edit Folder Button Edit Folders: Select the pencil icon to rename folders. edit icon Or the cross icon to delete folders. delete iconYou will be asked to confirm the deletion by pressing the delete button in a confirmation pop-up menu. image-20260407-142705.png

When deleting, if a file or subfolder is present, the system won’t allow you to delete unless the folder is empty.
