Regulations.gov is the U.S. federal government’s main portal for agency rulemaking. Agencies publish proposed rules, share supporting materials, and collect public comments in dockets. Engaging Networks allows for client’s supporters to submit public comments to the dockets from Email to Target pages as part of this integration.
Targeting a Docket with ETT page

Locate the Document ID for the Docket you intend to target

Navigate to regulations.gov

Find the docket and click into it

Locate the document where comments should be posted

Click into the document

Document ID will be on the left side of the screen

Contact Engaging Networks Support and provide the Document ID

Engaging Networks Support will configure that docket and provide you with a GUID
-
In the Target Settings of the ETT page, select Regulations.gov

Input the GUID and select Lookup GUID to ensure it is found

Proceed with creating your ETT campaign as you typically would
Regulation.gov ETT messages can only include the following supporter data merge tags: First Name, Last Name, Address 1, City, State, Zip and Phone Number
